DEATHS

The advanced technology at Ortech's disposal makes most deaths within the fence's perimeter a simple enough matter to reverse, provided there's enough left of the body to work with. But as people begin to press beyond the relative safety of the fence, the potential for death becomes a far more pressing possibility than ever before, and the ability to bring people back from any deaths that occur out in the wild unknown becomes a bit more... tenuous. Impossible, even, in many cases.

Currently, any death occurring within five miles of the fence can typically be reversed. This bubble is marked in no uncertain terms on any maps handed out by the Wayward Pines authorities. Within this zone, you're-... not safe, but at least you're probably not terminal. Beyond it, however, all bets are off.

REPORT A DEATH!

The technology required to bring people back from death remains firmly in the town of Wayward Pines, no matter how far out some of the citizens may choose to wander. And the dead must be returned to Wayward Pines in order for any sort of work to be done to recover them. Which means that the Where and How of a person's death are currently huge factors in determining whether a person can actually be brought back from their death at all.

If it looks like your character is going to die, report the details of the death here. The mods will work with you to determine the likelihood of your character's body being recovered in sufficient enough shape to successfully be respawned, or tell you what details still need to be addressed in order to successfully avoid a perma-death situation (unless of course perma-death is what you're aiming for in which case you do you I guess).
