He would definitely have lived in Wayward Pines, if he has any false memories at all. The Sheriff and technically the hospital would have his actual name on file.
However, he can be 100% in-the-dark on his identity if we play the circumstances just right. He'll need to have no Wayward Pines memories to speak of, because those would connect him to the town. The hospital technically has his name on file, but this is likely to be a big app round, and it's very possible for there to be a file mix-up and for him to leave the hospital before they find the correct file to tell him what that name is. The Sheriff would also know his name, but provided he doesn't have any run-ins with the law, it won't be spoiled on that front either. And while it's likely that some townies know who he is, they can easily just not be townies he'll ever run into, speak to, or hear about.
